Longarm Quilting Services

The services I provide are exclusively digital edge-to-edge designs! This means that the quilting will be uniform across the quilt top and not area-specific.

Do you know exactly what you want?

That's great! All of the commercially available digital pantos are available. If I don't have it in my inventory currently, I'm willing to go halfsies with you (most cost between $12 - $17) so that you can get the panto of your dreams, whatever it might be. Check out the websites I've linked to below if you'd like to browse options or email me a photo of quilting you'd like to replicate and I'll try to find the pantograph for you.

Not so much?! :)

I have years of experience when it comes to choosing designs, and I would love to help! When you contact me via the button above, you have the option to have me pick the design entirely and/or make the thread choice.

If the spirit of inspiration moves, I've even been known to create my own digital designs for a totally original pantograph. ;)

Price per square inch

I charge 2.5 cents per square inch for most all designs. Quilts received on March 1 or after will be charged 3 cents per square inch. For the rare, extremely intricate or dense design, I may charge more but would let you know in advance of beginning your top.

Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120. New pricing after March 1: 60 x 80 = 4800 x .03 = $144.

Minimum charge

My minimum quilting charge is $50.

I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend, 100% cotton and in the 100% poly.

The exception to the above rule would be another Quilters Dream variety like wool or their Green option made with recycled plastic that we could special order for you if given enough lead time.

I stock both Glide (#40 & #50 weight) and some So Fine (#50) threads. I don't charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price.

My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.

I live in Iowa, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. Upon completion of your quilt, I will invoice you via PayPal (including return shipping costs) and send your quilt back to you in a USPS Priority flat rate box.

Click the button at the top to ask any questions or to get the ball rolling!

What size should my backing be?

I require the backing to be 4" extra ON ALL SIDES. For example, if you have a quilt top that is 60" x 80", your backing should measure at least 68" x 88". It can be bigger, not smaller. Extra fees may apply if I need to put extra time and effort into getting your quilt ready to load. If you have questions, please ask!

I'm passionate about being able to give you results you will love! Teamwork! :)

Tidy it up!

Please press your top and backing for me so that it's nice and tidy and ready for me to load. Please also clip stray threads or raveling fabrics as best as you can. You might not be able to get them all, but to prevent dark threads shadowing through your quilt top, don't skip this important step!

Quilting Choice

I want this to be fun for you and not overwhelming! You have the option of having me make the quilting decisions for you. It all depends on your purpose for the quilt, sometimes "done" is best! Click the button at the top to get started.

Recent pantos

Have a look at some pantos I've used lately (and some I can't wait to use) to see if there's anything you can envision for your top!

Go forth and search!

To explore the perfect digital panto for your project, have a look at any of these websites below. Search the terms pantograph or edge-to-edge (E2E) to find the right type of designs. As I've stated above, I'm totally fine with chipping in to buy you the exact panto that your heart desires!
