Feathered Star QAL

A little background:
I have a free paper piecing pattern called the No Y Seam Feathered Star and another (non-paper pieced) version of larger stars called the Fierce Feathered Star. Since writing the patterns, I'd wanted to combine ALL of the sizes to make one quilt top. And that's how I the Feathered Star QAL came about!
The skill level for this project is intermediate-to-advanced. I struggle with calling it one or the other. There is nothing extremely difficult, it's just... fussy. There are cutting measurements and sewing that need to be precise for points to match. There are two partial seams involved, as well.
The QAL takes place over ten weeks: nine weeks worth of assignments or challenges (detailed below), and one catch-up week built-in.

Select the first bundle option if you have not purchased the Fierce Feathered Star block pattern. This option comes with all three required patterns in one PDF file and it's $20 USD. *Note: This is three (self-contained) PDF patterns in one file. The Feathered Star QAL pattern is the first 18 pages of the PDF. The NYSFS pattern is the next 21 pages. The Fierce Feathered Star pattern is the last 14 pages of the file. Page numbering is respective to the original patterns and doesn't follow the 1-53 sequence.
Select the second quilt layout only option ($10 USD) if you already have the Fierce Feathered Star block pattern. The 18 pages of instructions contained include cutting and quilt top assembly instructions for blocks made from the No Y Seam Feathered Star pattern and the Fierce Feathered Star pattern. The block instructions are not included in this file but are needed for the quilt. The NYSFS block pattern is and will remain a free download (keep reading below for more information).
